How to make your own earrings!

Hi there! Soo… this is typically a home decor type bloggy but I decided that I would share something a little different for you ladies! Especially since we are doing a jewelry GIVEAWAY!

I made a tutorial, based on a blog I found/love, Trey and Lucy. She made button earrings here! I basically have the same-ish tutorial. Here’s my new earrings!

Supplies:
Some cute buttons
Earring Posts
Butterfly nuts (earring backs!) haha!
wire cutters or shank removers – I used wire cutters since I already had them.
(you can find either in the jewelry making section at craft stores or online. I know Joann’s has some!)
Hot Glue/Glue Gun (not pictured)

First, I found some cute buttons that I liked. I found these at Wal-Mart of all places. A whopping $1.50-$1.88! Score!

Then, it was so simple, I took my button and removed the shank (the loop on the back) with my wire cutters

Watch out when you cut these off, they go FLYING!!

Next, take your hot glue and earring posts and glue them on the back!

Let the hot glue cool for a few minutes and VOILA! THAT’S IT! I told you, sooo simple!

Sassy black! LOVE!

Vintage gold! Wouldn’t these be adorable with the necklace from our giveaway!?!?

Then, wear these beauties! HA! I look like a nerd in that picture! Oh well!
I LOVE my new, less than $2 earrings!
